We have only a few rules to enter the Model of the Month Contest:
Your model must:
Be new for this contest and reflect the theme of the month Use three meshed* parts that are available for download in the MMD-Mall*Meshed in this context means: not textures, spas ect. Background stages for display purposes, also do not count towards this number.
Use parts that are legal to edit and from authentic† sources† Authentic sources are defined as any legitimate model/model part that has not be converted or edited without permission from the original copyright owner. Examples consist of: allowed conversions, original parts, ripped off editable models, stock model parts ect.
NO GAME RIPS ARE ALLOWED, unless they are from a source that allows ripping (i.e. 3dcg, onigiri, derivable IMVU meshes) If any entry uses three or more gameripped parts, it will result in that entry being thrown out and not eligible for resubmission. If your entry contains less than 3 parts, your entry will be allowed to remove and replace those parts with legal parts and be asked to resubmit your entry. IF YOU MAKE A MODEL WITH ANYTHING FROM TDA ONLY USE PARTS FROM TDA Ex: Only use a TDA head on a TDA body I want to make that clear it is an issue and we would like for you to not get in trouble and also so you know before you make a pretty model that can't be entered because it broke this one rule and the entries are lacking. Also, this rule is vice- versa for non-TDA models using TDA parts. Follow the submission guidelines below:
Please note that for fairness, the same user cannot win two months in a row, although they may still enter.
We also frown upon any users attempting to ‘bribe’ anyone into voting for them.
If your entry is declined, then please read through the rules again before asking us why it was declined.
If you break the rules on several occasions then you will be banned from all future contests.
Remember entries must be submitted by 2359 CST on the last day of that particular month. Entries submitted after this time will not be accepted. If you are on the last day of entry (29th, 30th or 31st of the given month) please add a screenshot of the time that you turned the entry in to the MMD-Mall to the feedback comments section of your entry, so that we may verify that the entry was in fact turned in on time.

Q: Can we use items that aren't in the MMD-Mall?
A: Yes, as long as it is a model part that can be edited then it can be used
Q: What game rips do you allow?

A: Yes of course!
Q: Can I enter a model that I have 100% modeled myself?
A: Yes, but only if 3 of the parts on the model are available to download
Q: I have used two different items that were both in one random pack does it count as one or two parts?
A: It depends. If it was, for example, some shoes and a skirt, then it would. If it was two leaves that were just different colors, then it wouldn't. For most things it should be fine, but if you're not sure, do check with us.
Q: I started a model last month, but it fits this month's theme, can I enter with it?
A: As long as the model is finished in the current month, it can be entered into that month's MotM
Q: Can I enter more than one model?
A: Yes, you can enter as many models as you want but please only submit one model per entry, however only one will reach the final poll
Q: Does my model have to be humanoid?
A: Not at all, as long as it fits the theme and follows the rules it can be anything, from animals, accessories or stages
Q: Can I enter more than one model per entry?
A: Nope. One per entry as stated above.
